I know the media is all "fiscal cliff this" & "fiscal cliff that" - blah blah blah, but let me tell you about a real life fiscal cliff.
It's the cliff where you are too 'qualified' for the reception or sales jobs and 'insufficiently qualified' for the retail jobs you are applying for.
It's the one where you get a general offer for a job and stop looking for another one, but HR holds things up while they research salary options, rendering you possibly unable to keep your apartment the following month, even with a patient landlord.
It's the cliff where you literally have no other option but to Just Keep Climbing.
|Because at the very least, the endorphins will help.|
I've got some great friends who keep me inspired and help me find my way to maintain positivity. I'm doing everything everything I can and today I finally have time to follow up on the new leads that my amigos have sent my way.
I know I'm not alone. Lots of people out there are as frustrated. I am darkly charmed by the irony of being a potentially couch surfing MBA grad. But then yesterday I totally yelled at a drunk homeless guy who was trying to pump my gas.
Yeah, I felt bad.
