|A 6 Marathon - 2 Half Marathon |
Like most of us, I could stand to re-lose that last twenty (or so) pounds I've gained and lost and gained and lost since college. Attractive enough, I've gotten away with carrying some extra pounds. Most of us do. But I don't feel like I'm in super duper fighting shape, and I want to be.
So I'm absolutely no weight loss guru. I'm not promising to lose this twenty (or so) forever. (Forever is a really long time.) But I am going to figure out how to lose this twenty (or so) for now and then we'll work on what's next once we get there.
With the help of my friend, founder and CEO of Trim 360 Dr. Ilya Rachman, the team at Trim 360, my running buddies, my spin instructors, my yoga teachers, my UCLA classmates, and all my favorite Power Blondes - I'm embarking on a little journey. It's time to turn these rubenesque curves into an stronger, sexier, and yes - curvier woman-made machine of awesomeness!
AND I'm going to share it all with you. Every frustrating, inspiring, annoying minute on the road to solid curves. I want your help and I want you to join me on this journey. One foot of asphalt at a time!
The Huntington Beach Marathon is on February 5, 2012 - One day before I turn 34. I'm going to drop the 20 (or so) pounds currently slowing me down, run hundreds of miles, spin, swim, lift, crunch and learn out how to SAFELY finish a marathon in under five hours! Then, just over a month later on March 18th, I plan to run the Los Angeles Marathon also in under five! I'm going to do this while getting my MBA, working full time, writing and producing some stuff and having a little bit of fun.
